What is "XBen"
"XBen" might look like an ordinary bento box, but don’t be fooled...
It was born in a hackathon event in Tokyo, on Oct.2014. (detail here ;))
We kept developing XBen after the event finished.
We create XBen type “Ojyu” for sxsw2015 combines traditional bento box with intuitive technology.
XBen gives us a unique opprtunity to bring people together to share in a fun
and rewarding experience to be enjoyed with friends and family any time of day!!

● the world coolest "OKAZU" blocks
XBen has "OKAZU" blocks, side dishes case, shaped
like puzzle pieces.
It is an amazing shape even Japanese people so bad
we could taste it!
So, XBen is the world coolest bento box regardless of
presence/absence of electronic devices. ;)

First, of course you can use XBen type "Ojyu" as
an ordinary bento box.
"Bento" is a compact, balanced, visually appealing meal packed in a box like this.

● Brilliant traditional Japanese Ojyu design

"Ojyu" is the Japanese traditional bento box used for a long time ago at least 1300s.
Japanese people used to use Ojyu for formal situation.
Cubic shape is common and made of wood or Japanese lacquer or plastic.
Yes, Ojyu has a meaning "the special".
